I simply toss it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry it on low, and it comes out without any issues of shrinking or tearing. Since the protector is only leak-resistant and not fully waterproof, I’ve had instances where liquid seeped through to my mattress, so it needs to be removed immediately. For added protection, I highly recommend using this mattress protector in combination with a mattress pad. Overall, it fits well, provides peace of mind, and proves to be durable. I would recommend it for those without pets or kids, as it offers leak-proof rather than waterproof protection.
