Quartet Lace BroochOne of a kind porcelain brooch, porcelain beads in white with 22 karat gold glazed lace textured surface. 2 1 8" x 1 2", depth: 3 8". 14 karat gold filled pin. The textured surface is created with vintage lace, cut to size and applied to the surface of the beads with slip before the firing of the porcelain. Once in the kiln, the lace itself burns away and what is left is the memory of the lace seen in the texture of the surface.
