Ceratostigma griffithii | Griffith's plumbago - 20cm, 3ltbroadly ovate, dark green leaves with purple red margins and short hairs, burgundy red in autumn. An abundance of small, 5 pettal, sky blue flowers bloom in late summer and autumn. Ceratostigma griffithii is adaptable to a wide range of soils, but prefers light, semi fertile, well drained soils. It thrives in full sun. It is resistant to frost, but needs to be sheltered from harsh winds. A Mediterranean climate plant that grows well in coastal areas.
